During this 12-day adventure trip, we will explore the most breathtaking landscapes and unique biodiversity of Madagascar, capturing unforgettable moments on our cameras.
Starting in the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo, we will visit impressive places such as the private nature reserve of Anjajavy and the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, home to endemic species such as the lemur and the chameleon. We will also visit the Berenty Reserve, home of the striped-tailed lemurs, and the Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, where we can photograph the beauty of the primary forest and waterfalls of the region.
Our trip will be guided by professional photographers who will share their techniques and knowledge to help improve our photographic skills. We will also stay in luxury accommodations and enjoy exquisite local cuisine while immersing ourselves in the culture and history of Madagascar.

Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Antananarivo
Welcome to Madagascar, the largest island in the world and home to an impressive biodiversity and culture. After landing at Antananarivo's Ivato International Airport, our team will meet you and take you to your hotel in the city center.
After settling in, you will have the opportunity to rest and recover from the trip. Depending on the time of arrival, we may choose to take a short tour of the city to photograph the historical monuments of the capital, including the Royal Palace of Ambohimanga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will enjoy an excellent dinner at the hotel, preparing for the exciting photographic journey ahead.
The journey has just begun!

Day 2 : Antananarivo - Flight - Morondava
Today everything is ready to fly to Morondava.
Morondava is known as the "land of baobabs" because of the presence of these giant trees over 30 meters high.
Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to visit the Avenue of the Baobabs, an extraordinary landscape that is part of the famous postcards known throughout the world. These 800-year-old trees line both sides of the road for about twenty kilometers, offering an idyllic setting for a photographic safari. The Baobab Avenue is of incomparable beauty and is impossible to miss!

Day 3 : Morondava - Bekopaka
After an early breakfast, we will drive to Bekopaka. The trip takes all day and is full of fascinating discoveries.
In the evening, we will take a memorable night walk along the Tsingy.
The Tsingy is a remarkable geological formation characterized by sharp limestone pinnacles and deep canyons. During this excursion, you will have the opportunity to observe a variety of nocturnal animal species such as lemurs, birds and bats.

Day 4 : Great Tsingys
A full day of hiking in the Grandes Tsingys.
Early in the morning, we will drive to the entrance of the Bemaraha National Park, at the foot of the Great Tsingys.
This comprehensive nature reserve has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since the 1990s. Karst landscape and limestone massif in the form of sharp peaks, results of climate change, erosion that occurred several hundred thousand years ago, the Tsingys of Bemaraha are full of endemic flora that has adapted admirably to the relief, lakes and mangroves that serve as natural habitat for several species of animals such as lemurs including Decken 's Sifaka only visible in these tsingys, and other rare species of birds such as giant coas, cristatàs.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 5 | Bekopaka - Kirindi Reserve - Morondava
After breakfast, we will leave Bekopaka and return to Morondava.
On the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the"Avenue of Baobabs", an extraordinary landscape often referred to as the "Gateway to Central Menabe". This avenue is home to a remarkable group of Grandidier baobabs (Adansonia grandidieri) that line the unpaved road No. 8 between Morondava and Belon'i Tsiribihina, in the Menabe region of western Madagascar.
In addition to the avenue of Baobas, you will also have the opportunity to see the"Baobab amoroso", which is a unique tree belonging to the Adansonia fony species. This tree has two trunks intertwined like a couple in love, which gives it a unique shape.
Arrival in Morondava is scheduled for late afternoon, after sunset.

Day 6 : Morondava - Flight to Antananarivo - Andasibe
Breakfast and transfer to Morondava airport to fly to Antananarivo.
Arrival in the capital and departure to the east to go to Andasibe National Park .

Day 7 | Andasibe National Park
Early departure for an exciting adventure of approximately 5 hours in the Analamazaotra Reserve in Andasibe. Here, you will have the opportunity to observe the majestic Indri Indri, Madagascar's largest primates, and explore the impressive rainforest.
In the afternoon-evening, night visit to the VOI Reserve.

Day 8 : Andasibe -Antananarivo
After breakfast we will transfer to the capital Antananarivo (approx. 4.30h).
Free afternoon to enjoy the magnificent hotel or to go shopping.

Day 9 | Antananarivo - Flight - Fort Dauphin - Berenty
We will transfer to the airport to take a flight to Fort Dauphin and from there, we will head to Berentya nature reserve located in the heart of a vast sisal plantation owned by the De Heaulme family. De Heaulme family.
After settling in at the hotel, we will enjoy a walk through the reserve to observe the lemurs in their natural habitat. Berenty is home to several species of lemurs, such as sifakas, mouse lemurs and brown lemurs. sifakas, mouse lemurs and brown lemurs, among others.among others. At the end of the visit, we will return to the hotel to rest.

Day 10 | Berenty
Berenty is a reserve founded in 1936 by the De Heaulme family, owners of the surrounding sisal plantation.
The reserve has almost 1,000 hectares of protected area in a dense gallery forest dominated by tamarinds and dry thorn forest, where you will discover incredible lemurs such as the Verreaux's sifaka, the brown lemur and the famous ring-tailed lemur.
Berenty is a great place to see Sifakas "dancing" on the forest floor.

Day 11 | Berenty - Fort Dauphin - Flight - Antananarivo
After breakfast, transfer to Fort Dauphin airport for flight back to Antananarivo.
Relaxing afternoon and last shopping.

Day 12 | Antananarivo - End of the trip
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight.

PAYMENT POLICY
Reserve Deposit:
The reservation will be effective when a deposit of US$ 1,000 is made.
No places will be reserved without a deposit.
Final Payment:
Payment of the final amount is due 60 days prior to the start of the trip.
Cancellation and refund
We understand that attending our Workshops requires a prior commitment, and also that things may happen in life that force you to cancel a trip. Depending on the date of cancellation, the following conditions apply:
More than 4 months before the start of the workshop: 100% of the amount paid to date will be reimbursed.
Less than 4 months before the start of the workshop: 50% of the amount paid to date will be reimbursed.
Less than 2 months before the start of the workshop: no refunds will be made.
The reservation deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another workshop in any scenario.
Responsibility
Health - Participants must be in general good health. Any medical or dietary restrictions must be communicated to us well in advance. We will inform the relevant supplier of your requirements, but we cannot guarantee that all requirements will be met and have no liability to you if they are not met.
Vaccinations, obtaining visas and all other travel or medical related arrangements are the responsibility of the participant. We advise you to check the latest advice online or consult your doctor.
Cancellation by Namaste Photo Tours - Namaste is not responsible for events beyond its control, such as strikes, wars, acts of government, acts of terrorism, epidemics, or any other cause beyond its control, which may make it impossible, illegal or inadvisable to carry out the tour.
If there are compelling reasons for Namaste Photo Tours to cancel a trip, all payments received will be refunded immediately.
This reimbursement will be the limit of Namaste Photo Tours' liability.
Namaste Photo Tours is not responsible for any expenses incurred by participants in preparation for the trip, including non-refundable airfare, special clothing, visa or passport fees, or other trip-related expenses.
We advise you to wait with the purchase of airline tickets until the minimum number of participants is reached.

1. Accidents:
1.A. Namaste Photo Tours is not responsible for accidents of participants of the trip, nor will it cover medical expenses if necessary. During the trip, each participant is responsible for his/her safety and physical integrity.
1.B. Namaste Photo Tours is not responsible for accidents or loss of photographic equipment during the trip. Each participant is responsible for his/her own photographic equipment.
2. Punctuality:
2.A. The Photographic Trip begins on a specific date and in a timely manner. All participants must be at the location established for the starting day of the trip. In case of delays due to inconveniences, the participant must contact a Namaste Photo Tours representative as soon as possible.
3. Respect:
A. Respect and patience are the basis of a successful Photographic Journey. Participants may be at different levels of knowledge about the subject matter, so patience is required when explaining topics that are already in their domain. Each participant's area of photographing should be respected. No disrespect from a participant to another member of the trip or staff will be allowed.
4. Climate:
4.A. The tour and its itinerary are weather dependent and may change from one moment to another. We will always be aware of the best weather conditions to determine where to go and to optimize the photo taking.
